Bringing the excitement of reality TV into your living room, here are eight creative at-home date night ideas, each inspired by a different reality show.

1. At Home Hot Ones Challenge

Just like the spicy interview show "Hot Ones," line up a series of hot sauces, increasing in heat. Prepare some wings or a vegan alternative, and while tasting each sauce, ask each other deep or funny questions. See who can make it to the hottest sauce!

How to do it (estimated cost: $160):

Step 1: Order the official hot ones set (link to the set)

Step 2: Pick the "36 questions that lead to love" from the NY times (link to the questions)

Step 3: Order some wings

Step 4: Get started!

2. At Home Bachelor Night

Create your own romantic rose ceremony. Set up a series of mini-dates in different areas of your home. At the end of the evening, exchange roses and share heartfelt notes about your relationship.

How to do it (estimated cost: $180):

Step 1: Order roses (link to order roses)

Step 2: Date 1: Do an at-home wine tasing (link to at home tasing kit)

3. At Home Great British Baking

Pick something to bake, like pastries, bread, or our favorite, pretzels, and see who can create the tastiest or most unique item.

How to do it (estimated cost: $35):

Step 1: Order the Pretzel Night kit (link)

Step 2: Put on the Pretzel Night pretzel-making playlist (link)

Step 3: Use a bunch of dry British wit as you run about

4. At Home Chopped Challenge

Like on "Chopped," select a few random ingredients for each other and set a time limit to make a dish using them. Add a twist by including at least one unusual ingredient and have fun seeing what each other comes up with.

How to do it (estimated cost: $75):

Step 1: Bring home double of a base set of ingredients (for example, chicken thighs and a vegetable)

Step 2: Each person secretly orders three other ingredients for the other

Step 3: Cook, and compare!

5. At Home Survivor

Set up a series of backyard challenges inspired by "Survivor." These can include puzzles, physical challenges, or even a fire-making contest. Finish with a tribal council where you discuss your favorite memories together.

How to do it (estimated cost: $40):

Step 1: Have a backyard and decent weather

Step 2: Game 1: Order blow darts or a bow and arrow and see who can do better

Step 3: Game 2: Create an obstacle course and do three timed races each through it while holding a cup of water making sure you don't drop the water (use handicaps as necessary)

Step 4: Game 3: Lie a plank of wood or a line of bricks for a balance beam and see who can walk across it on one foot (increase difficulty as needed)

Step 5: Tribal council!

6. At Home Naked & Afraid

Send the kids to their grandparents, this one’s all about stepping out of your comfort zone, but in a fun way. Each of you picks an activity that the other is not too familiar with or comfortable doing at home (e.g., a new kind of workout, a crafting project). Do it together (naked of course).

How to do it (estimated cost: $40):

Step 1: Each person picks an activity and gathers materials

Step 2: Teach the other person how to do it (naked)

7. At Home Dancing with the Stars

Turn your living room into a dance floor. Choose different styles of music and learn a dance together through online tutorials. You could even dress up.

How to do it (estimated cost: $0):

Step 1: Clear an area at home

Step 2: Find a dance tutorial (link to a couples dance tutorial)

Step 3: Get your groove on!
